I know this is a departure from my usual, but Barnes and Noble is having a 50% off sale this weekend only on all current NY times bestsellers in both ebook and print formats. This is only for the weekend, so if you’re interested get on it.

5     DON’T GO, by Lisa Scottoline. (St. Martin’s Press.) An Army doctor returns from Afghanistan when his wife dies in what at first appears to be an accident, and finds that his life is falling apart. 1
         
6     DAMAGED, by H. M. Ward. (Laree Bailey Press.)  young woman goes to bed with a sexy man, but complications ensue. The first in a series.
         
7   LIFE AFTER LIFE, by Kate Atkinson. (Little, Brown & Company.) A woman appears in different versions of the same events, centered on World War II. 
         
8     A MEMORY OF LIGHT, by Robert Jordan and Brandon Sanderson. (Tor/Tom Doherty Associates.) The 14th and final novel in the Wheel of Time fantasy series.
         
9   FALLING INTO YOU, by Jasinda Wilder. (Jasinda Wilder.) Years after her boyfriend’s accidental death, Nell Hawthorne encounters his older brother, and they embark on a painful but ultimately healing relationship.
         
10   THE STORYTELLER, by Jodi Picoult. (Simon & Schuster.) A New Hampshire baker finds herself in the midst of two Holocaust stories: her grandmother’s story of survival, and the confessions of an elderly German man, an SS officer.
         
11   GONE GIRL, by Gillian Flynn. (Crown Publishing.) A woman disappears on the day of her fifth anniversary; is her husband a killer?
         
12   FEVER, by Maya Banks. (Penguin Group.) Jace, Ash and Gabe are powerful and used to getting anything they want. But Jace’s friendship with Ash is jeopardized when he becomes obsessed with an alluring woman; Book 2 of the Breathless trilogy.
         
13   ALEX CROSS, RUN, by James Patterson. (Little, Brown & Company.) While Alex Cross pursues a Washington serial killer (or killers?), someone is after him.

19   THE HOST, by Stephenie Meyer. (Little, Brown & Company.) In this first adult novel by the author of the Twilight series for teenagers, aliens have taken control of the minds and bodies of most humans, but one woman won’t surrender; originally published in 2008.
         
20     THE SHADOWY HORSES, by Susanna Kearsley. (Sourcebooks.) Mysteries abound as archaeologists search for the resting place of the lost Ninth Roman Legion in the Scottish borderlands.
